Parade Road Crampton Ave Intersection

Project Length: 3 Months
Contractor: City of Bunbury
Project Value: $35,000
Project Date: January 2017 – April 2017

Project Outcome:

CB Traffic Solutions successfully won the traffic management portion of a project to upgrade the intersection of Parade Road and Crampton Avenue in Usher. This project involved the duplication of lanes within the existing road reserve, clearing of some very large vegetation, as well as installation of new islands, pathways, and cycle ways.

CB Traffic Solutions developed a complete Traffic Management Plan for this project to allow for all stages of works to be undertaken safely and efficiently. Where possible, all roads within the work area remained open to the public, with Crampton Avenue only closed for a very short period of time whilst the works in the intersection were undertaken.
Some of the complex issues that were required to be resolved on this site included 3 heavily utilised bus stops within the works location, and working within close proximity to a medical centre that required access to be maintained at all times.

CB Traffic are pleased to confirm that this project was completed on time, without any traffic management related incidents.
